It was a year ago this week that my husband and I drove out to Montana to bring my mom back for the winter. Wow! What a year this has been. All that has taken place since that week a year ago with mom, her living in our home, the expericnce of a hard winter, the holidays, pain and mobility issues, flying to Montana to pick out some furniture to send back for her, dr. appointments, looking for assisted living, moving her in, her dog, cleaning out her home, getting it on the market, her fall, watching her age, family coming to visit her…. Wow! What a year this has been. I am so thankful that it worked out this way and that she is here close to us in a safe place where she is well cared for. For this I am forever grateful….
